Calls for Recruits.org
I want to personally thank everyone for the continued success of Calls for Recruits and all the ongoing projects. I ask for people to keep my in your prayers as I am looking for work. I have been unemployed for the last 18 months and I will hear by the end of May if I will be going back to my old job. I hope it happens as it will greatly help me to continue to keep this project moving forward. Thank you all and I will keep you informed if I will be able to continue this project
I use all donations to this project to purchase phone cards and I will continue to send them until I am no longer able to. Thank You…..
Navy Outfitters.com is the Official Store of NavyDads.com and CallsforRecruits.org. ALL of the proceeds from this site go towards these 2 projects. If you are looking for Challenge Coins, Proud Mom and Dad T shirts, the famous Sailors Blue Candle, or any other Navy Gear please check and see if we have it first. CallsforRecruits.org sends out thousands of Phone Cards every month and ALL phone cards are bought through donations or sales from the store. Please visit and browse the store often as more items are being added all the time.
Calls for Recruits is devoted to the individuals that have gave the most. The service they are providing is essential to this county and we are forever grateful.
We are striving to provide FREE Phone Calling Cards to ALL Recruits in Basic Training. If you have a loved one currently in Basic Training or Leaving Soon…Just send us an E-Mail at CallsforRecruits@gmail.com and we will E-Mail you phone cards for your recruit to call home during basic training.
Calls for Recruits’ mission is to think of the needs of others and to give back to the ones who are giving the most to Our Great Country. What is there about human nature that we always want more? The more things we have, the higher we climb the social ladder, the more difficult it can become to think about the needs of others. Selfishness and materialism can cause us to rationalize our position and forget our social responsibilities. The air of aristocracy leaves us light-headed and thinking we are deserving of drinking in such power, position, prestige and possessions. Rare is the person who “does well” and pays it back.
This project was started for me to “give back” to those who are just starting their journey into the Service for Our Great Country. Being a 2nd Generation Navy Enlisted, and the parent of a 3rd Generation Navy Enlisted, I know the struggles, hardships, and feeling of loneliness that is involved with Military Service. I am striving to make sure that the Recruits have the means to stay in contact with Loved Ones and I will provide a support system for those who don’t have one. Hopefully this will help them to continue this throughout their Military Careers.
Every recruit in Basic Training needs to keep in contact to keep their spirits up and keep motivated to reach their goals.
Calls for Recruits wants to reach out to all the branches of Service to ensure that No One is Left Behind. Please E-Mail us your requests, comments, or questions.
NavyDads.com has been a supporter of Calls for Recruits.org since the beginning. I would encourage you to visit their site and join. It is full of great information and helpful member and admin staff as well.
If your Loved One has not left yet for Boot Camp, Please tell them about NavyDep.com. That website it dedicated to the Future Sailors who are in the DEP program and they provide excellent resources for DEP’ers….
I realize that some of the recruits that need this service, don’t have anyone to come to the site and get the cards for them. I am asking that people that get cards, please have their recruits share these cards with other recruits that may be in need of these cards. If you ever need more cards for your recruit or other recruits, please feel free to come back as often as needed to get more cards. I want to make sure that NO Recruit goes without during this stressful time!!
Calls for Recruits has been making Tribute Photos and Videos for Military Members for some time now. If you would like to know more about these projects, please visit the pages by clicking here
Feel free to leave comments below. I always appreciate to hear from you!!! I would love to hear from some of the Recruits who got to use the phone cards. I’m sorry about having to ‘Sign Up’ to leave comments, but the spam was getting way out of control. It is about the same as before when leaving comments, just have to get the password from your email first. Please bear with me….
